Woohoo!! Let's all go on holiday! If you're packing up your Safe Place Bed to take with you - have a quick read of these reminders:

"I'm sure the travel agent said this was a sandy beach..."
"I'm sure the travel agent said this was a sandy beach..."

  1. If you've purchased a Safe Place Bed specifically for your holiday, pleasepleaseplease try it out at home before you travel. You'll get practice at setting it up, and your child can explore it in the home environment - you can also observe how they interact with it, and that will give you ideas on setup etc. About 1% of children just don't get on with the Safe Place Bed and thats fine - we have a 30 day return period so you're not out financially BUT you don't want to find out that you're in the 1% club on Day 1 of your holiday.

  2. If you already own a Safe Place Bed, check that you have everything: straps, inflatables, pump, and check it's all working. If you're lucky enough to be going abroad make sure you have a plug adapter for the pump.

  3. If you're missing anything, get in touch - we have spares! We can generally get them to you the next working day in the UK - outside the UK can take longer due to customs clearance.

  4. If you have any messy disasters, remember you can wash the cover of the Safe Place Bed 100 on a 30 degree delicate wash. I'll link a couple of YouTube videos below which are helpful. You can line dry or tumble dry the cover - it line dries very quickly.

  5. Is someone else looking after your child with additional needs while you go away? Make sure they know how to set up and use the Safe Place Bed, and the daily checks they must do. I've linked the Safe Place Bed instructions below so you can download them.

  6. Have a fantastic holiday :-)
